11th Annual Judge John Shaw
Civility and Ethics
The 11th Annual Judge John Shaw “Country Gentleman” Civility and Ethics Seminar will take place on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 beginning at 1:00 PM. The seminar will include three (3) hours of CLE credit, including one (1) hour each of Ethics and Professionalism credits. The seminar will be held at the John Shaw Federal Courthouse in Lafayette. Following the seminar, there will be a reception/social catered by iMonelli hosted by the Lafayette-Acadiana Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
The registration fee for the seminar is $25 for current members of the Federal Bar Association. If you are not a current member of the FBA, the registration fee schedule is set forth in the attached registration form and includes an annual membership to the FBA.

Federal Sentencing Guidelines Seminar

Please join the U.S. District Court, Western District of Louisiana, for a free seminar on the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines on January 25, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Shreveport Federal Courthouse. Six (6) hours of free CLE will be provided. All lawyers are invited.
Our speakers will be Kealin Culbreath and Rusty Burress from the U.S. Sentencing Commission. The seminar will begin with the basics of the guidelines and will cover more advanced topics, like relevant conduct, as the day progresses. A free reception in honor of the CJA appointment lawyers will follow in the jury lounge. Space is limited.
