Guidelines for Adding Parties - Added May 30, 2012
As to those cases coming before this Court by way of a Conditional Transfer Order made final and filed into this Court:
Once this Court has received notice a Conditional Transfer Order (CTO) has become final, the Clerk of Court, immediately, certifies and files that Order with this Court. Thus, all cases within that CTO are deemed filed within the Western District of Louisiana and within the MDL Master Case of 6:11-md-2299 Actos (Pioglitazone) Products Liability Litigation. Consequently, all Orders filed within 6:11-md-2299 Actos (Pioglitazone) Products Liability Litigation are immediately applicable to those newly filed cases. Copies of all Orders which have been filed, and new Orders as they are filed, in 6:11-md-2299 Actos (Pioglitazone) Products Liability Litigation, can be found on the Western District of Louisiana website at www.lawd.uscourts.gov, for informational purposes only. Each case which is filed in this Court, will receive an individual case file to be referenced on all future filings and under which they will receive notice; this individual case number, along with notice of actions of the Court, will be issued upon receipt of the file from the transferor Court and processing by this Court. During the processing period, any EMERGENCY FILINGS, only, may be filed via e-mail at : firstname.lastname@example.org. All Orders of the Court issued in 6:11-md-2299 Actos (Pioglitazone) Products Liability Litigation will be posted, for informational purposes, on the noted website.
