Recent Developments in Sports Law

Are you ready for some football? The Lafayette-Acadiana Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is pleased to host a 1.25 credit hour CLE presentation by Bob Barton and Trey Tumminello, Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips, LLP, focusing on recent developments in Sports Law. Bob Barton is the Taylor Porter Managing Partner and is an adjunct professor of law at Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he teaches a course on Sports Law. He represented the American Football Coaches Association as amicus curiae counsel in the landmark Maurice Clarett decision concerning eligibility for the NFL draft. Operation Bright Holiday

The North Louisiana Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and the federal judges in the Western District of Louisiana invite you to a CLE benefiting Operation Bright Holiday, a program unique to Barksdale Air Force Base that helps pay travel expenses for deserving first year airmen to go home for the holidays. The seminar will be at the Tom Stagg United States Court House in Shreveport on Friday, September 20, 2019. Please join us for 5 hours of Louisiana CLE. The cost is $400.
