FBA Lafayette/Acadiana Chapter -- Judge W. Eugene Davis Lecture Series Presents Prof. Robert Force on "Three Pet Peeves in Admiralty Law"

The Lafayette/Acadiana Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is pleased to announce the second installment of the Davis Lectures honoring Judge W. Eugene Davis on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 1:00 PM.  Our speaker is Professor Robert Force on the topic of “Three Pet Peeves in Admiralty Law.” Professor Force, Director Emeritus of the Tulane Maritime Law Center, is the Niels F. Johnson Professor of Maritime Law at Tulane University Law School. Force is an internationally known authority on admiralty and criminal law. He has co-authored two landmark texts, The Law of Seamen and The Law of Maritime Personal Injuries, both now in their fifth edition. In 2001, the Seamen’s Church Institute named Force a maritime law legend. Application pending for 1.25 hours of CLE credit in Louisiana and Texas
We encourage you to attend. There will be a catered reception after the lecture (included in the price of the CLE) and Judge Davis will be in attendance.
