1. BACKGROUND: The U.S. District Court has a courtroom area located at 515 Murray Street, Alexandria, La. This area contains approximately 2,200 sq’ and is due for cyclical maintenance upgrades in this space. At this time the Court would like to remove stretch in carpet carpeting in these areas and install new broadloom carpeting. This area contains multiple raised platforms and radiuses which will have glue down broadloom carpet.

<p>Coordination between the court and carpet contractors will be required to phase the work with minimum disruption of schedules to employees and contractors.&nbsp; The Contractor will remove furniture from areas as needed.</p>

<p><strong>SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/INFORMATION: </strong></p>

<ol>
<li>Carpet installation date is dependent on an ongoing project buildout and the penetration of an outside hallway into the courtroom creating a door opening, currently scheduled for November 2026.</li>
<li>Carpet deliveries have been delayed by several months on recent projects and it is detrimental that this target date is achieved.&nbsp; Notice of any issues with expected delivery date shall be given to the Court at the earliest opportunity.</li>
